2. What data we collect

When you visit haensel-ams.com, we collect:

a) Site usage data (automatic, via our first-party tracking system on ct.haensel-ams.com): page views, time on page, scroll events, viewport interactions (e.g., which sections you scroll into view), referrer URL, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, device type, and an anonymous session identifier.

We do not collect special categories of personal data (health, religion, etc.) and we do not use the data for advertising profiling.

3. Why we use this data

Site usage data is used to understand how visitors interact with our website so we can improve content, structure, and conversion. This includes core usage statistics such as page popularity, drop-off points, and engagement with key sections.

Contact form data is used solely to respond to your inquiry and to evaluate a potential business relationship.

4. Legal basis for processing

Site usage data: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving our website. We use first-party tracking only, no cross-site tracking and no advertising profiles are built. You may object at any time (see "Your rights" below).

Contact form data: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — pre-contractual measures taken at your request when you submit the form.

5. How long we keep the data

Site usage data: aggregated analytics data is retained for up to 24 months. Raw event data is deleted or anonymized after 12 months.

Contact form data: retained for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting business relationship. If no engagement results, we delete or anonymize the inquiry after 24 months unless statutory retention obligations require longer.

8. Cookies and storage

Our first-party tracking system may use a small amount of browser storage (such as a session identifier) to recognize repeat visits within a session. This is limited to our own domain, used solely for the analytics purposes described above, and is not shared with any third party. No third-party advertising or marketing cookies are set by this website.

9. Automated decision-making

We do not engage in automated decision-making, including profiling, that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
